Huck Update, the Adventure Begins
PRE HUCK: The day before HUCK started we spent packing. As we began packing, Jez and Ben were directing all of the packing, weather it was taking apart the mountain biking trailer to fit all of the boats that we have and all of the food and all the rest of the gear. When night came around it was time to start packing food. We were in the kitchen from 9 P.M. to 12 P.M. it was a long night, but the kitchen was fun.
HUCK DAY 1: Today we left right in the middle of breakfast. We crammed into the camp van and we on our way to the unknown river, it was unknown because the campers are not permitted to know what river we are going to. 45 minutes into the drive, we picked up professional kayaker Andrew Holcombe. He is a great guy and I am sure we will all have a great time running rivers with him. As we made our why into Tennessee it was reveled to us what we would be running: Baby Ralls on the Tellico River and part of Bald River Falls. We all ran each water fall successfully and all of the instructors were proud of us. As we were leaving we had one minor problem, the air conditioning in the van broke. So now all of us are on our way to the camp site that we still have no idea where we are staying.
